Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains which starred Andy Lau and Lin Chiling had completed its location shooting in Dubai within 20 days, both of them “fly up the sky”, “down in the sea and sand”, more than 100 crew members were activated, the air tickets of the participated crew members all over the world had exceeded HK$4700,000.
Other than the strong production crew, the location shooting sites includes the elegant 7-star BurjAl-Arab hotel’s president suite, it was an unforgettable experience for female leads Lin Chiling and Zhang Jingchu. BurjAl-Arab hotel had rejected more than 40 requests to shoot on site, however it opened its doors for Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains. When asked why the hotel allowed them to shoot on site, director Sun Jianjun said: “Actually BurjAl-Arab hotel did rejected us, thus we shot and edit a video for them and won their trust.”
It is said that Andy would parachute jumping, fall from high heights, drove a car crashing into a 6-star hotel’s lobby giant fish tanks that houses 60,000 fishes. There was also parachute jumping from BurjAl-Arab hotel which can be comparable to what Tom Cruise did in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
