On 9 September, it was reported that Andy Lau and Carol arrived at Malaysia in a low profile manner to handle the post matters of Carol’s father funeral and return to Hong Kong on 17 September. However, it was not as high profile as they did on 25 August where they held hands when they were on their way back to Hong Kong from Malaysia, they even went separate ways after coming out of the custom.
Andy carried his luggage and board the nanny car whereas Carol took another car. When reporters asked them directly: “Why do both of you come out of the custom separately? Are you back in Malaysia to handle post matters of Carol’s father funeral?” Both of them did not answer the questions.
