It was the last day of 2010 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition on 2 May, superstar Andy Lau appeared at the Acura booth in a causal western suit to become the car model of the day thus becoming the spokesman of the new Acura TL.

Fans whom heard the news of Andy appearing had surrounded the booth with hands holding light-sticks awaiting for his arrival. Several kids were sitting on the shoulder of their father to have a good view, some girls even allowed their boyfriends to carry them also to give them a better view. When the gate of the W1 hall was closed by security, a total number of 4000 gather to see Andy. The commercial was broadcast on the huge screen, Andy only appeared after the commercial ended.
Andy’s appearance stirred up the atmosphere of the W1 hall where the Acura booth was, this is the last high point of the exhibition.

Acura TL has the tag of “the most exciting vehicle in history”, other than its 285 horsepower, it also provides top class elegant and controlling, the driver will surely fall in love with it. More than 100 Acura owners were present, despite their different profession, but their driving enjoyment and attitude towards lifestyle are the same.

With regards to the feeling of driving the Acura, Andy could not forget how he personally drove the car in San Francisco during the shooting of the commercial, “The most obvious feeling is that TL is able to sense and react to the driver’s control, the accelerator and steering response are also very responsive, especially when you floored the accelerator, you could feel the car is full of power to accelerate forward. Currently I still can remember the streets and road of San Francisco, the feeling of driving on Golden Gate Bridge.”

With regards to his wine manor character in the commercial, Andy expressed that he still reminisces the character, he said: “The commercial was shot at a famous winery in San Francisco, during the shooting I could feel the elegant favor at the winery, this fits Acura TL very well. I feel that fellow owners of Acura TL will think likewise, because we are all young at heart, we loved new challenges.”

Andy’s appearance not only increase the popularity of Acura, his sincere dialogue also cause those present to fall in love with the car. Since Andy became the spokesman of the car, he had held dialogues for the car in exhibition in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing respectively, sharing his experience of driving the car, his life enjoyment attitude, allowing TL to stand out in the elegant car category to become a car of taste and character.
